Exploration of Color

A new direction in Ada’s practice introduces an evolving dialogue with color, as select bronze works are finished in richly pigmented automotive paints. Among these is a vivid red inspired by classic performance car lacquers, creating a compelling tension between industrial precision and the quiet intimacy of her sculptural forms.

This exploration marks a notable shift in her approach, bringing an unexpected material language into conversation with traditional bronze casting. The luminous surfaces intensify the emotional presence of the figures, where references to speed, motion, and modern engineering contrast with stillness, fragility, and contemplation. Through these bold chromatic interventions, Ada expands the visual and sensory dimension of her work while maintaining the delicacy and restraint that define her practice.

This growing engagement with t and inspiration from he automotive world has opened new creative conversations across luxury and design spaces, with connections to iconic marques and cultural platforms associated with Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, and RM Sotheby’s during Miami’s design and automotive season.

The Shell Series

These one-of-a-kind bronze sculptures by Ada Da Silva embodies her signature exploration of balance, elegance, and emotional presence through elongated figurative forms.

Two abstract figures lean gently toward one another, united through a shared gesture as they hold a luminous piece of Mother of Pearl, transforming it into a symbolic space where ideas, emotions, and unspoken dialogue quietly meet. Poised delicately on a single leg, each figure appears suspended between movement and contemplation, allowing the iridescent Mother of Pearl to illuminate the piece and reveal a serene harmony between nature and sculpted form.

These pieces were central feature of 'The Gilded Affair' at the Moore Club during Art Basel Miami 2025, an exclusive event hosted by Casa Noosh and Amarna Gallery. In a landmark fusion of fine art and culinary luxury, the sculpture served as one of five original bronze vessels designed to debut the world’s rarest caviar—Albino Almas Sterlet, valued at $65,000 per kilogram.

,

Sails portrays a woman navigating away from constraint. She is shown twisting and fighting against a turbulent current where the waves serve as metaphorical hands attempting to suppress her thoughts and progress.

space.
